I work in textiles (fabric), up-cycled and recycled materials. Each piece is a one of a kind. My favorite pieces to make are bags, especially custom bags. I also design clothing, create fabric collage (quilt), and home decor pieces such as window treatments, sofa pillows, and upholster furniture.

Inspiration can come from anywhere really, but I do love a strong juxtaposition in color, shape or materials. Also, the way a certain material feels in my hands can strike an idea.

I have been creating art since I was old enough to wield a pair of scissors. My official education comes from Edinboro University of Pennsyvania where I graduated with a BFA in Art. However, since both of my parents are artists I was provided with numerous opportunites to be mentored and to study under their contemporaries as I was growing up.
